What Does A Small Lump On My Groin Area Indicate?

I have this small lump on my groin area is kind of hard but soft also. Only hurts if it gets pressed apon and ive had it for maybe a week. It started to head and popped open and water blood came out but its still not gone. Its now starting to turn a darkish color. What do you think it is? Should I be worried or is it a ingrown hair? Please help.

Hi,

I have gone through query.
Lump you have mentioned is most probably a bacterial infection may be due to ingrown hair or other cause.

If i were your treating doctor i would have advised you:
Antibiotic course like Amoxicillin.
Antibacterial ointment for local application.
To keep proper hygiene of the area.

After these your lump will most probably subside.
Can help you more if you can show the picture of the lump.
