What Does ECG And EKG Results Mean?

Thank you for posting your query. I can understand your concern.

In right bundle branch block ( RBBB) , the septum between the 2 chambers of the heart is activated normally, the impulse travels down the left bundle branch to activate the left side of heart. But as the right branch is blocked, the impulse then travels from left to right chamber of heart after a short delay. This can cause skipped beats. This RBBB is quite common and is harmless but it can be serious depending upon circumstances.

RBBB is a normal finding in some people.

It can occur due to myocardial ischemia( low blood flow) , heart failure ,high blood pressure, or heart valve defect . Worst case scenarios.

All the report values like rSR' , increased QRS are due to this complete RBBB.


Do not worry much,

If you have symptoms of breathlessness, palpitations , skipped beats visit a cardiologist. He will correlate clinically.

EKG ,ECG both mean electrocardiogram.
