What Do The Blood Tests Show?
Hello doctor!. I am 26 years old. I was aborted more than 2 months ago. Then, I made blood test 2 weeks ago. The results are: Rubella IgG Cobas 6000 positive- 500 U/mL (0.001-10), Rubella IgM Cobas 6000 negative; CMV IgG positive - 489.3 U/mL (0-10), CMV IgM negative. What does this mean? Do I need to wait to be pregnant? Do you think that this two virus are the reason of abortion? Thank you so much!

Hello dear
I understand your problem , since IgG positive for both rubella and cmv this means you are now immune to both virus . This may be possible virus may be cause of your present pregnancy loss, I would advice wait for atleast 6 months to became pregnant again as iron loss can be recovered and concerned doctor before you planned for pregnancy and start folic acid atleast 1 month before conception before.
