What Do I Take To Liquify My Stool With Ulcerative Colitis?
I have issues going poop because it always hurts. I've tried it all, changing my diet, blah blah blah... My body can't handle it because I have ulcerative colitis. Anyway... Anything I can take to liquify my stool, not just soften it when it's already in the colon?
Hi i read ur problem of liquification of stool with suffering from ulcerative colitits.First of all i tell u that ulcerative colitis may be genetic.Recurrent infection and decreased immunity also a pasipitating factor.U concern gastroentrologist for following investigation which is needed for cause of ur problem. INVESTIGATION- 1-BARIUM MEAL STUDY 2-ENDOSCOPY 3-COLONOSCOPY AND SIGMOIDOSCOPY 4-PLAIN X RAY ABDOMEN 5-BARIUM ENEMA IN my view u take high protein and high energy diet. Take low fat diet or milk free diet it will improve ur problem. Concern to doctor if infection is present then antibiotic course is needed.High fibre diet is also supplemented along with other dietory adjustment.Take iron,folic acid ,calcium,vit D rich diet.
