Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain there is a possibility that due to hitting of the head with the wave that has led to perforation in the eardrum and along with it there is accumulation of fluid in the eardrum leading to clogged feeling and muffled hearing..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and otoscopy can be diagnostic..
You can be advised oral as well as nasal decongestants for relief..

You can also be advised to go for surgical drainage of ears to remove the fluid along with surgical correction of ear drums like Tympanoplasty to repair the eardrum..
You should avoid swimming as of now as well as avoid exposure to loud sounds..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
