What Could Missed Periods After Taking Medicines Post A Dental Extraction Indicate?

I had my Molar tooth extracted on 14th April 2011. After which I took cap amoxycillin 250g for 5 days (Antibiotics) and paracetamol as well. Normally I use to have my periods after 21-22 days every month. Every cycle last for 20-22 days max. I was suppose to have my periods around Feb 20 but its not happening. Its almost a month now. Missed my periods. Could that hind towards something else? Or there is some other reasons for my missed periods? I was in great pain when tooth got extracted. But Now I am ok. Please advise .

Welcome to healthcaremagic,
Your missed period is not related to the dental extraction. As you said its a month since you had your missed test, I advice you to do a urine pregnancy test.
Urine pregnancy test are simple, rapid and reliable pregnancy confirmation test. If the test line is lighter, same or darker than the control line it indicates pregnancy. If the test is negative it means you are not pregnant and may need further evaluation by a gynecologist.
Hope that answers your question.
