Hello,

You are experiencing a loss of sensation in the clitoris after intercourse. You can also feel a vein stickling out near the clit and also above the pelvic bone. Loss of sensation in the clitoris can be due to hurt, abrasion, lack of adequate blood supply, sudden drop in the testosterone level, vulvar varicosities, etc. You can apply an ice pack to your vulva and clitoris to minimize any swelling or inflammation.

It will also help to numb the hurt and discomfort associated with vulvar varicosities. To help clitoris function normally you are suggested to keep the area lubricated so that it does not hurt. Maintain healthy weight, obesity is a risk factor for varicose vein and hence numbness. You should have regular intercourse or frequent arousals so that the clitoris may remain normal and function normally. The clitoris relies on adequate blood flow, your doctor may recommend regular sexual activity,

Full hysterectomy may cause clitoral atrophy as the ovaries are responsible for production of estrogen and testosterone, removing them could lead to a loss of testosterone. The loss of blood flow may be the result of infrequent use. Those who aren’t sexually active are more likely to experience clitoral atrophy and loss of sensation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
