My son is three years old. He got a fever on Sunday. We gave him Children s Advil. He has hardly eaten anything since then but he was drinking (very thirsty at night). He looks very pale now and when he eats something (banana, apple, breakfast bar or even Pedialyte) he says it tastes funny and won t have more than one bit or sip. He has urinated regularly (even today) but I believe it s been 48-72 hours since his last bowel movement. His fever was around 100 (armpit). He has no other symptoms (congestion, cough, runny nose, etc.). He says that nothing hurts. His eyes look sort of sunken and dark (compared to usual). As of tonight he feels warm to the touch but I took his temp rectally and it was 98.6. He seems to have a rash (pink, not raised) in his groin area. Inside legs and all around privates. He hasn t had any Advil since 9am this morning.
