I had Implanon inserted at the beginning of September last year. Have not stopped bleeding since. Have no other problems with it. GP gave me the antibiotics for a week (and also transamic (?) acid, but they had no effect). I have now been given a 3 month prescription of Noriday by a locum GP. The bleeding has stopped almost immediately (been taking it for a week now). I am just trying to investigate whether it is safe to continue taking the two progesterone's together, and whether my GP will be happy with me continuing this. I am 40 this year, happily married with 2 children (we don't want any more!). I do not seem to have any side effecst, and have always had low blood pressure and am very healthy (run, play tennis, healthy weight). I suppose I just want everything to settle down and get on with my life! Many thanks.
