What Could Cause Seizures?

hey,
my son is 2 years and 11months old, weighing 33 lbs and 48 inches tall. At 18 months old, he started having absence seizures and it progressed to myclonic seizures. at this point in time, his blood test revealed that his thyroxine (T4) is 4.2 and thyroxine, free is 0.88. therefore my question is, is there a possibility that this causes seizures in my son
