Hello I have studied your case. As per your symptoms there venous insufficiency [varicose vein] leading to dark purple bruise. Dilated vein need investigation like venous Doppler and valve study. There is another possibility of skin involvement due to infection. Many of my patients find relief with laser treatment for varicose vein. For these symptoms analgesic medication can be started.
