Hi, my daughter has lots of Blood in every stools since January. We ve been at the hospital numerous times since. Every CBC are normal except for oesinophiles which are twice the higher limit. She took 10 days of Bactrim and 7 days of Cipro, with no change at all. Would you have any idea what could be the problem? I don t know what else to do! Would you have an idea? Thank you!

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Its likely that your daughter is having worm infestation of intestines that can cause bloody stools and high eosinophil count. Mebendazole tablets can help. As she had bactrim and ciprofloxacin these don`t work against worm infestations.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate to ask. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
