What Could Be The Reason For Large Swollen Lymph Nodes On Either Side Of Neck ?
Hello doctor,
I have two large swollen lymph nodes measuring around 5mm located near the large artery's on either side of my neck. I have gone to get them checked and got a FNA and a core sample diagnosed in Stony Brook Hospital and the results were benign.
My blood work also came back fine, I haven't lost weight, haven't had strep or any sickness. I had multiple nodes when I got diagnosed and some disapeared and one got a little bigger. I'm hoping you can shed some light to why these are still on my neck after 3 months.

Lymph nodes enlarge as reaction to some infection in local area ( throat in your case )
If results are beningn dont worry , they should go away soon
There could be some hidden focus like dandruff ear infections etc which needs to be addressed
