What Could Be The Reason For Dull Ache On The Right Of Testicles?

Hello! I have had a pain to the right of my testicles for the past three days. My testicles nor my penis hurt. They are fine. It is to the right of them, close to the base of my penis in the pubic region. I have no problems going the bathroom or urinating, just this dull ache to the right. Any ideas

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such pain near the testicle can be caused by inguinal hernia, varicocele or epidydimis.
Inguinal hernia can give a lump in the groin, the pain appears when coughing or lifting heavy objects.
If you have varicocele, you should be able to palpate noodle like structures.

I suggest you to visit urologist, have testis and groin ultrasound done.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
