Hello and welcome,

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.

Your concern is completely understandable.

Please do not worry. The common causes are nabothian cysts, polyps, erosions etc.

Dark spot on cervix is not a presentation of cancer cervix. Most of the time it causes foul discharge a visible mass and bleeding.

The best way to know is get a biopsy, it is easy and will help establishing a diagnosis. Please do not worry, the description does not fit a cancer.

Hope this was helpful.
Feel free to ask any further queries and I will be happy to help.
Thanks for using HCM.
Have a good day.
