Hi, I have one through your query and understood you worries. With this presentation in my clinic, I would think of dysfunctional uterine bleeding. This results from hormonal imbalance during menstrual cycle. Since bleeding has stopped, I suggest you should not be worried now. It may go back to normal during your next menstrual but if it still continues, then I would advise that you see a gynecologist for proper assessment.
I hope I have answered your query
I wish you good health
