What Causes Yellowish White Discharge Even After Taking Pill?

Hi ive been taking orthotricyclen for three months and took the first 6 pills 6 days. My boyfriend ejaculated inside of me but i took Next Choice 4 Hours later. now i have yellowish white discharge. is this normal? Is the pill working ? should i be worried about pregnancy ?

Hi,

I gather that you were already on oral contraceptive so you didn't need next choice (as you were already protected). In addition, you took emergency contraceptive. So there was sudden rise in hormones in your body, your genitals got irritated to give you the vaginally discharge. There is no chance of pregnancy but the hormonal load can cause hormonal imbalance delaying your next periods, wait for the period to come and start taking your pills from 5th day of period.
