Hi I am Afro caribbean female aged 32. I recently noticed vertical lines down my thumb fingernails and my big toenails. The ones on my thumbs are not very dark but they are darker than the colour of my actual nails. The ones on my toenails are visably darker and my actual toenails have become noticeably dark too. I have read various articles online which suggest that this might be a rare form of skin cancer.
