What Causes Trouble In Breathing And Pain In Chest?

For 2 weeks I have been having trouble with my breathing when I walk a very short distance, and I have pain in my chest constantly. I am currently being treated for gastritis... But my symptoms do not add up to what the symptoms of gastritis read to be. Any suggestion...

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Gastritis can not cause breathlessness.
Chest pain with breathlessness are commonly seen with lung diseases like lung infection and bronchitis.
So better to get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection.
Get done PFT to rule out bronchitis.
You may need antibiotic, inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) on the basis of reports.
So, your symptoms are not due to gastritis, you need to first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
