What Causes Trapping Of Nerves With Rashes & Headache ?

It started with severe neck pain, which has now spread to my right shoulder and arm, almost unbearable at times. My doctor thinks it to be a trapped nerve which was 3 days ago, but since then red spots have appeared on my right arm and am now getting severe headaches at times, any idea what this can be?

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

The fact that now skin manifestations have appeared on top of nerve pain indicates the possibility of a Herpes zoster infection, a virus infection involving a nerve root exiting from the neck. However since from what I understand your doctor hasn't seen the skin signs you have to let him know and have him examine them. If after examining them visually he agrees on that diagnosis treatment with antiviral medication is necessary.

I hope you'll feel better soon.
