What Causes Tinnitus With Floaters In The Eye?

I have been experiencing a ringing mostly in my left ear which has increased in loudness over the past 6 months or so. About a month ago, I suddenly started seeing a dark floater in my left eye which is mild but slightly annoying. Are the two things possibly related?

dear age related problems may cause floaters and tinnitus due degeneration of nerves along with age.diabetes,drugs can cause nerve damage give above problem.so please don't neglect consult opthalmologist/ENT specialist as soon as possible.
