What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes And Recurring Fever?

my 1 year old son had a 104 fever a month ago for 24 hours. I noticed at that time a few swollen lymph nodes on the left side of his neck. Since then he has had on and off fevers from 99.3 to 101.5. Almost everyday. I have been to tthe pediatrician and she couldn t find anything wrong with him.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Is there any symptoms apart from fever? Is he otherwise active and playful? How is feeding? Any investigations done? Fever persisting for 4 weeks definitely needs detailed evaluation to find out the cause. Kindly get back to us with details. Meanwhile, give him paracetamol when needed and give a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
