What Causes Swelling In The Right Sole And Lateral Aspect Of Right Foot?

hello doctor,
my patient presented to me with soft swelling in right sole and lateral aspect of right foot for 2 years. the swelling is non tender, mild compressible, firm consistency and crackle feeling on pressure.
mu question----- what might be the cause of this swelling?

Xrays of the involved part are necessary to rule out the involvement of tarsal bones
MRI scan is needed to know the size and extent of the swelling
An open biopsy / FNAC is mandatory to confirm the histological nature of the swelling.
