What Causes Suture Holes Around Penile Head?

Hi. I have suture holes around the head of my penis. They are filled with a hard substance that can sometimes be squeezed out. One of them seems to have gotten infected and has been oozing pus for the last few days. I have squeezed it dry and applied a topical antiseptic cream. Its feeling much better, but I would like to know more about my condition.

Hi,

You have done right thing to apply a topical antiseptic cream to suture holes. Since there is pus it is in healing process. Keep on applying antiseptic cream and take oral antibiotic like amoxicillin and anti inflammatory like diclofenac for 5 days. Work with your primary care doctor to achieve these.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
