Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query for sudden hearing loss and pressure in ear after teeth cleaning. As per your clinical history it appears as you are suffering from eustachian tube dysfunction and because of this your middle ear had gone into negative pressure and you feel it as either blocked ear or pressure in ear. Once there is difference of air pressure between middle ear and external ear the tympanic membrane (ear drum) gets retracted or bulge out. In both these situation there is reduce mobility of ear drum and you feel it as loss of hearing. Your this problem can be treated only by ENT doctor, but till you are in waiting you may take- 1- Steam inhalation. 2- Anti histaminic. 3- Decongestants. 4- Tab paracetamol.
