What Causes Stuffy Nose And Hard To Breath?

I have had a stuffy nose for about 3 days now. I have tried decongestant, zytec, and benedryl. I woke up yesterday with a cough and thick white mucus. I will blow my nose and blow my nose but never can breathe through it. Is it a sinus infection or a cold?

Hi
You have blocked nose with cough and mucus discharge since last 3 days. You are suffering from acute rhinosinusitis. Sinuses are invariably involved in any nasal infection but there is nothing to worry about.Take anti histamines, nasal decongestants and steam inhalation several times a day.Your symptoms will get relieved. You can also take paracetamol if there is fever or pain.Take a course of antibiotics if symptoms persists even after a week or the mucus discharge turns yellow in color.
