Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past 3 days my stomach has felt empty like I haven't eaten. It's been a constant pain. I get nausea in and out. Certain smells can trigger the nausea. I'm dizzy in and out. I'm having frequent clear discharges. It started 3 days ago when I skipped a meal. I was so hungry that I started getting these symptoms and they haven't left since. What's wrong?
Thanks for writing to health care magic. I can understand your concern.
One of the reasons could be acid peptic disease. This could have been triggered by your skipping of meal. Your doctor will prescribe antacids if this diagnosis is confirmed. Other reasons for such a problem could be viral hepatitis. You should consult your doctor at the earliest for a complete physical examination. Your doctor may order certain investigations like liver function tests which include serum bilirubin etc based on the physical examination findings. Further management depends on the diagnosis made. So consult your doctor for a examination to identify the cause.
