I m 44. I ve recently been spotting between periods, had a uterine biopsy taken (non-malignant, but probable cyst, and noted disordered architecture ) and took a course of progesterone before my last period (arrived Jan 3rd) to maybe flush the cyst out. (My periods are not irregular, I just have more frequent spotting). My spotting seemed less perhaps, after this last period, but still pass lightly brown discharge this week and out of the blue, I just sort of suddenly passed blood (enough to fill a pantyliner) with large dark jelly-like blob of same color as blood-dark red by not quite brown (not sure if considered a clot or not). My last period started about Jan 3rd, so this is not typical for me. I will call my GYN tomorrow but wondered if you had any idea what this might be? Thank you.
