What Causes Severe Pain Under Right Rib During Menstruation?

Hi, I have gastric ulcers and I'm currently on lancap 30mg. I started this course of meds with an antibiotic to fight the h.pylori bacteria. Its has helped but I still get occasional, bearable epigastric pain. Recently when I'm menstruting I get excruciating pain under my right rib. Its not menstrual cramps... It feels like the ulcer pains but in a different area. I get bloated and nauseas and it sometimes feels like hunger pangs...

Hi, I went through your query. Pain under right ribs could be due to some problem in your liver or gall bladder and if the pain is more backwards towards the loin area it is probably some kidney problem. Liver problems usually cause dull and mild to moderate pain. So seems unlikely in your case. I would advise you to have an ultrasound of abdomen done and act accordingly . Your problem does not appear to be related to menstruation. Hope this helps.
