Hi, I am 29 years old, I was officially diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2007. However, unlike most women I don't have heavy periods, in fact my period is about the only time I have pain relief. My stomach swells to the size of what would be comparable to a woman 7-8 months pregnant.I have had two laparoscopy's and about to have another. A few months ago I was in such sever pain I went to the ER, they did a cat scan and fond what they thought was a bowel obstruction and wanted to do emergency surgery, but I knew it was not an obstruction and checked myself out against medical advise and went to another hospital with a better reputation. The Dr. said he thinks my endo may be spreading. I am currently the in the worst pain I have ever had, it shoots down my legs and my whole body aches..especially in the morning. I am also suffering with Insomnia, do you think that I have more than endo?
