Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

I will keep a possibility of Psoriasis Vulgaris.
Psoriatic patches are red, well defined and scaly.
Scaling is white or grey, thick, candle wax type. The patches are classically distributed over extensors like back, elbow, knee.
Itching is subjective.
The diagnosis of psoriasis is usually obvious on clinical examination. Rarely a biopsy may be required to confirm a diagnosis.
I suggest you to visit a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis as well as appropriate treatment.
Moisturizers are an essential part of treatment of psoriasis.
Specific treatment of limited skin involvement with psoriasis is with potent topical steroids e.g clobetasol propionate, halobetasol propionate and topical Vitamin D analogues e.g calcipotriol and calcitriol.

Regards
