Hello, my kid is 1 year and a month old, she's having throat infection starting from first year...Till then she was absolutely fine. We have treated her with azithrol two times in span of 2.5 months. I would like to know why she's getting her throat infection again and again...

I have gone through your query regarding recurrent sore throat in your one year kid.

Your kid is too small and he may not be having sinusitis because sinuses are not develped in such an small child. The possible causes of recurrent sore throat in your kid are-

1- Enlarged adenoids and tonsils.

2- Chest infection.

3- Poor oral heygine.

4- Respiratory allergies.

Good physical examination and clinical co-relation with necessary investigations one may reach to diagnosis that may be manage accordingly.
