What Causes Persistent Lower Back Pain After Drinking?

i have had pain in my lower back for the past week. thought it was my kidneys after a night of drinking. haven't been drinking alcohol (only water) and the pain persists and is moving into my abdomen. i haven't had any issues urinating, could it be a kidney infection? i'm a 28 year old male
