Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I dont think viral infections and panic attacks are related. But anyhow, the treatment would remain same if you are having a panic disorder.
I have some suggestions for you:
1. Drug treatment for panic attacks include drugs like paroxetine and escitalopram. I must tell you that these are prescription drugs.
2. The psychological treatments like behavior therapy and cognitive therapies are also very useful.
3. You can also practice relaxation therapies like deep breathing and meditation to keep your mind relaxed.
4. Avoid chocolates, tea, coffee and alcohol as these increase chances of panic attacks
Visit a psychiatrist to discuss these issues.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks.
