What Causes Painful Rashes On Neck?
I am vacationing away from home. I have had pain from a stiff neck for two days. I have what looks like it may be a rash on my neck but no other symptoms. I recently got over a cold (last week.) I am wondering if I need to go to an emergency room to rule out menegitis.

I really appreciate your concern if you have history of cold then the lower respiratory symptoms is very likely that may be due to viral infection and this causes the stiff neck, but this is noting to worry, it will come around as soon as the course of disease overs, you can have symptomatic medicine for this and the best choice is Tab Acetaminophen one tab three times in day, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
