What Causes Painful Intercourse?

I have a sexual problem...me and my girlfriend have been having sex for about two months. When we first started for about the first month it was amazing, no problems, etc etc...over time she said it started to hurt, but we dont know why, and it is in a way we dont understand. She says it only hurts when I enter her, once I am inside and we continute to make love she says it is amazing, etc etc, but if I accidentally come out, she says it hurts to come out, and if we go to change positions or something, she says it hurts going back in, we want to fix this obvisouly. The only time it gets better is if she is very wet so I can enter her easily. fyi: we dont use condoms, she uses the pill, no lubrication or anything, so my guess is its too dry? can you help us understand, she said it never hurt the first month or two, only the split second of penetration...any answers?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In the current scenario, the possible causes for the painful penetration are: 1. Mismatch in the size of the vaginal introitus and the penis, the organ being larger than the introitus and hence causing pain. 2. Dryness of the vagina. This can be due to hormone deficiencies or inadequate priming. This can be overcome through counselling, use of K-Y jelly etc. 3. Infection of the vagina. This can be detected through examination. 4. Scars over the introitus, tears and other injuries. These can be detected through a speculum exam. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
