What Causes Pain Under Arm And Difficulty In Breathing?

Hello - I am in Michigan and daughter 47 yrs old , lives alone, and last night got a pain underarm on left and said it reminded her of 3 yrs ago when they said she had pneumonia. She really hurt and didn t feel well then. This now started last night and she had been here and closed her car door a few times ? We have caps from 4Life Co that work on the immune system and she took 2 of those earlier today and 2 regular asperins. Of course she works 2 part-time cheap paying jobs and can t afford insurance and I worry. Anything you can suggest? No fever present - just says this pain . Doing breathing exercize a little too and said lungs feel heavy when she does.? Any suggestions at all? Thank you This is wonderful that you fellows are doing this. Thank you again. Jo Ann Blair

Hi!
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
If your daughter doesn't have fever,cough I would exclude pneumonia.
If she never had heart disease most probably the pain was due to a muscular spasm.In this case painkiller like Ibuprofen,Paracetamol(Tylenol),Aspirin can relief the pain and she will be fine in a couple of days.
