What Causes Pain In Ribs With Stomach Bloating?

I have pain in my ribs, a bloated stomach, and trouble taking a deep breath especially after meals. What could be causing this? I have had a scope in my stomach and there is nothing there but a little bit of irritation. I am 38 years old, 5'5'' and 250 lbs.

Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Bloating of stomach, trouble taking breath after meals and pain in ribs can be due to the following reasons:
Costochondritis.
Gastritis with intestinal infection causing bloating.
Bloating presses on diaphragm and can cause difficulty in breathing added on by the pain in ribs.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get a clinical evaluation, examination and relevant investigations of blood, stool, urine; ultrasonography of abdomen. You have already undergone Endoscopy. The treatment will be as per the findings and you will be stated on an anti-inflammatory medications for rib pain, probiotics and as needed.
Additional treatment of the cause as diagnosed will be given.
Avoid stress and anxiety as these can increase the symptoms.
