What Causes Pain In Liver Area While Passing Urine?

I noticed when I drink alot of alcohol or let my bladder get over full, as I urine I feel a slight relieving pain as I perform. This feeling is located in my LLQ, left lower quadrant, i believe anaomitcally its my liver region. Any insights would be appriciated.

Hello and thank you for asking HCM.

I have read your symptoms and i will answer at your questions.

Your symptoms : relieving pain in your left lower quadrant,after you have a lot of alcohol might correlate with a kidney stone,an infection of your urinary tract, or even a cyst in the left ovary (if you are a female)
If i was your caring doctor,i would advice to do an ultrasound of your abdomen,to check your abdomen (especially your urinary tract)
-an urine test to see if there is an infection,and if so,treat it with antibiotics

According to your symptoms,you have nothing to worry about your liver,since the liver is located in the upper right quadrant of your abdomen and you feel pain in your lower left quadrant.
