Hi my husband has suffered from migraines and nose bleeds since he was young. But lately he has been getting bad headaches more than 2 times a week. The last few months I ve notice that after he gets a nose bleed , it s when he gets his worst headaches that last hours or days. What could it be?
First of all, I would like to know if he has hypertension or not? Second, does he smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol or not?
If he has hypertension, he should receive medical treatment, because hypertension can cause a severe headache with nose bleeding? Cigarettes smoking can cause arteries atherosclerosis.
This condition makes the blood vessels wall more fragile and more prone to bleed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
