What Causes Nausea In The Morning?

I am a 46 year old female feeling nauseous in the mornings mainly (not pregnant), with loose bowel movements and yellow stools. I recently went off Spirolactadone for acne because I thought it was the culprit, but that was over 2 weeks ago. The only other thing recently new was I began to take iron supplements for RLS, but I have since stopped that also to try and figure out what may be causing this. I am lactose intolerant, and for years have had digestive issues around that. I had a Celiac test, Gallbladder and Kidney ultra sounds over the last few years and nothing has turned up. I am 5'4 at 159 pounds. No major medical issues ever, one
c-section, but am very sensitive digestively. Any thoughts?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

As you stated, the iron supplements are a possible cause but if the symptoms have continued despite the discontinuation then you may need to look for another cause.

Other causes include: (1)reflux
(2)metabolic causes eg abnormal calcium, high BUN
(3)liver disease
(4)infection
(5)mass in the brain

Reflux may be the more likely cause especially since you have other digestive issues.
You may want to try reflux medications to see if this have an effect.

I hope this helps
