What Causes My Kid Throwing Up When Feeding Artificial Milk?

Dear Doctor, I will greatly appreciate it if you answer my question My daughter is 4 months old and she stopped breast feeding for different reasons, after just one and half month so the only solution was to go for the artificial milk, so since two and half month my child is on such milk and she started throwing up what she has in term of yogurt so i had to consult a doctor and the prescription contained STUGERON but when i started reading about STUGERON i panicked. Kindest regards

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

I suggest you not to use Stugeron please.

Most importantly if the baby's weight gain is good and there is no diarrhoea and there is no unexplained vomiting please do not use any sort of medications in this age group.

If the baby is gaining weight within the normal range and his developmentally normal then do not use any medications at all including vitamin supplementation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
