What Causes Mild Sore Throat , Sinus Headache And Pain In Ear?

Hi. I have had an intermittent, mildly sore throat, dull earche, sinus headaches, and swollen submandibular lymphs nodes for over a week now. Went to doc 3 days ago, who did a lymph check and wasn't concerned. She believes it is viral and probably due to eustachian tube dysfunction. and has me on fluticasone. CBC was normal and no fever. I'm worried, though; the lymph nodes are disconcerting because they're not going down yet and my symptoms do not appear to be abating much, although I am less weak and tired than I was earlier this week. Could this have become bacterial and should I be on antibiotics? I'm a medical transcriptionist and I think this may be making me hypochondric, but I need a professional opinion. Thank you.
