What Causes Loose Stool And Cold Sensation?

Feeling cold and have had loose bowel movements for the last two days. Think the loose bowel movements could be from food but now that I m feeling cold I m starting to think it could be something more serious. Any suggestions on what it could be would be great. Thanks. Kevul

Hi welcome to HCM...

According to your history you are having loose motion with cold feeling....
So here it seems to be stomach viral flu....

Symptomatic management done...
Rest is need....
Maintain hydration with lots of water....
Fruits juices more...
Small meal taken at frequent interval...

Avoid gastric irritants like ...
-smoking
-NSAIDs
-alcohol
-stress
-excess tea

If no improvement ciprofloxacin and metronidazole like drug given....

Then if needed stool culture or stool examination needed for further work up.
..

If abdominal pain associated then typhoid ruled out by widal or blood culture.

Take care.
