What Causes Loose Motions And Dark Colored Stools?

I was diagnosed with jaundice (hepatitis A virus) 2 months ago, starting with a bilirubin level of 14 and SGPT 5186. the bilirubin level came down to normal 3 weeks ago but the SGPT was continuously on the rise from 250 went on to 422 in the span of nearly a month.
for the past week i have been facing some trouble in the form of loose motions in the first few days followed by normal but 3-4 motions every day and finally today there was dark colored stool. is there something to worry about??
Also, i had been advised to take normal food for the past 20 days now..and taking udiliv 300 twice a day.

Respected user, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly.
* In Hepatitis A - inflammation and swelling of the liver and is most often
caused by a viral infection.
* In Hepatitis stool is pale rather than brown , because bile is not being
made or reduction in bile production or there is blockage between the
liver and the bile ducts ; diarrhea correlates with the same.
- dark stools require additional examination in form of Proctoscopy & stool
microscopy .
* SGPT levels remain elevated for some long time period in many cases.
Hope this clears your doubts .
Welcome for any further assistance.
