What Causes Leg Pain And Fatigue?

I am male 66 and retired 5 months ago. I have worked in hot countries for over 20 years. I swim most days when at home. I have slightly high blood pressure but it has never caused a problem when getting a 2 year offshore medical. I have not been drinking as of 7th Dec 2011 to see if I can lower my uric acid level for my gout attacks. I am not on medication for that. I try and manage the gout myself. There has not been a gout problem since I stopped drinking. I have cut out red wine and red meat, liver, port etc. I am taking over the counter iron, vitamin D3 and fish oil tablets daily. I have sore legs and feel tired most days, this has been going on for about 1 year. I walk and catch the bus and only use the car on rare occasions. I am about a stone overweight.
