What Causes Itchy Sores In The Groin Area And Swelling In Clit?

I thought I had a severe case of the yeast infection, with sores on the hood, top of the lambia and on the inside, clit sensitive, and itching and burning as I urinate. I taken monastat, and now my clit is swollen, the burning as I urinate is almost gone unless the urin hits a sore. And now it created a white patch on the side. And I m 6 months pregnant. I would show you a pic, but I don t know if you can send them.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a urinary tract infection.

I suggest doing a urine test, a vaginal swab and a complete blood count.

Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
