I m tired all the time, I ve been getting itchy random hives to the lower extremities and buttocks that last no longer than several hours...my skin itches all over. My appetite is greatly reduced and I ve lost weight over the last 2 weeks because of it. Thoughts?
Hello, Thanks for posting in HCM. Itchy hives also called as urticaria in medical terms is caused due to some allergic reaction of your body to some kind of stimulus(allergen) which causes hypersensitivity reaction. It is very important that you should find it yourself the causative agent responsible for this reaction and to avoid it henceforth. Few examples are dust particles, certain pollen grains, food products like eggs, peanuts, tomatoes etc. Next time you again have such reaction, try to think what must have caused it and confirm it by trial and error method. For now take tablet levocetrezine 10mg to decrease the reaction. I hope i have answered your query well. Thank you
