Hi, I have just woken up early with a really itchy roof of my mouth. I went to the bathroom and took a look and I have red patches that look like speckled blood. I brushed my teeth and the toothpaste seems to have soothed the itching slightly, but it is still there. I have been treating myself for thrush this past week and I am worried that I now have out in my mouth? Is that possible? Thank you for your help.
thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the itching could be because of the fungal infection in the palate or herpes virus infection or errosive lichen planus. consult a oral physician for complete examination..take topical anesthetic and analgesics..continue saline gargling.. i hope my answer will help you..take care..
