What Causes Hot Flushes And Shivers After A Long Walk?

Yesterday after walking about a mile in total to walk to school to collect my daughter and back, when I got home I was very hot and began to shake uncontrollably. I was not breathless and didnt seem to have a rapid heart beat. I do have anxiety but this was not like any panic attack I have had, it felt very physical. I had a drink of water and a cereal bar and sat for about ten minutes and it went away. I have been on citalopram 20mg daily for over 6 months now, due to feeling very anxious. My dad, sister, auntie and grandma all have slight tremors, as I have since I was a teenager, but never like this. I am 43. A couple of weeks ago, I felt vibrations in my head when I was waking up. Do you think these things are related? I have just walked further this morning, and felt ok, a little tired afterwards. I have had diareah almost every morning for over 6 months now, although I am gaining weight.

If you are having chronic diarrhoea, then it must be due to dehydration that you had these symptoms and also due to weakness resulting from it, drink plenty of fluids, add some salt to prevent fluid and electrolyte imbalance and make sure you get your diarrhoea under control by consulting a doctor for appropriate medications.

Are you having regular periods? If your periods have become irregular too, then these physical changes could be due hormonal imbalance due to approaching menopause.
Do you have night sweats, difficulty sleeping and mood swings. If you are experiencing any such symptoms, then it means you are approaching menopause. In order to relieve such symptoms, you must eat healthy, include soy products in your diet, have fresh fruits and vegetables and stay active as much as possible. Sleep well and try to control your anxiety by meditating for as little as 15 minutes, relax by doing deep breathing exercises.
